Redmond has a rich historical heritage with its built environment and many of its finer examples are featured in the Heritage Walking Tour Guide put together by the City’s Historic Landmarks Commission. The guide is a tour of 36 buildings and residences – most of which exhibit many of their original architectural features and range from early 20th Century up to World War II – also includes a map, historic photos, descriptions of each building’s history and “Did You Know?” Redmond trivia.
Best toured on foot to get the full effect, the tour can also be done by bicycle, scooter, wheelchair, Segway, long board, etc., etc., or by motorized vehicle. You can tour it with the brochure in hand or now on your phone (NEW!). Whatever method you choose, grab one of the guides, get out there, and learn something unique about your hometown.
